The Whispering Woods Part 4: The Haunting

As night fell, the friends returned to their cabin, their minds reeling from the journal's ominous words. The whispers grew louder, filling the air with an oppressive sense of dread. Sarah's heart pounded in her chest as she felt an invisible presence watching them, waiting for the right moment to strike.

Suddenly, the lights flickered, and the temperature plummeted. The friends huddled together, their breaths visible in the freezing air. A ghostly figure materialized before them, its hollow eyes fixated on Sarah. The apparition whispered in a voice that seemed to come from the depths of the forest itself, "You should have left when you had the chance."

Panic set in as the entity began to move closer. Desperate to escape, the friends ran outside, only to find the forest shrouded in a thick fog. The whispers grew deafening, and the shadows seemed to come alive, reaching out to ensnare them. Sarah knew they had to find a way out before the forest claimed them as its next victims.
