empty save for the open book, its pages fluttering in the breeze. The
townsfolk, noticing the teenagers' absence, formed a search party, venturing
cautiously into the Whispering Woods.
They found no trace of the missing youths, only the
abandoned book. The townspeople, recognizing the symbols from the old legends,
knew better than to disturb it further. They sealed the clearing, marking it as
forbidden ground.
