The friends decided to stay close together, but as the clock
struck midnight, the power went out. Panic spread as they fumbled in the dark.
When the lights flickered back on, Tom was missing. Frantic,
they searched the manor, calling his name, but only echoes responded.
In the library, they found a hidden passage leading to the
basement. The air grew colder as they descended, their footsteps echoing
ominously.
At the bottom, they discovered a ritual chamber, and on the
stone altar lay Tom’s watch, covered in fresh blood. Fear turned to terror as
they realized the legend might be true.
